Yet one more layout

 

This Layout required 3 pages. I really loved the color combonation to go with our poolside photos. Tha papers are from a DCWV paper stack. I really like their papers because it makes coordinating papers and colors so easy. I realize you have probably had about enough of these photos and this project but I appreciate all that check out my blog and really enjoy all comments.

 

 

Vacation Layout

Just about finished with this scrapbook. Several more double page layouts should do it. Can't wait to begin a new project, especially with Fall on it's way.

Another LO created by a sketch

I found a 3 photo sketch at www.Gotsketch.blogspot.com. Their website does not allow you to save the sketch photo to share but I will show you my creation anyway. For those of you who would like to see the sketch you can go to their website, it is sketch 106 under the 3 photo sketch heading on the right hand side of her page



The layout that coordinates with the sketch is on the right hand side with the solid blue paper background.

 

Here's a couple of close-up views of this magnificent paper . The glitter is incredible and the colors are just so vibrant. The papers are from DCWV Tahiti Beach collection. They are not found in a stack. I bought each sheet individually and they work together beautifully.

DCWV August 2012 Challenge

I have been pursuing another crafting experience I enjoy, cake decorating, but I have recently gotten back into my scrapbook room. I have a vacation album I am trying to finish up. I entered the DCWV August Stack-A-Holic Challenge. It was for a 1 page LO, although I tend to do 2 page LO's so I will show you my challenge entry plus the additional page and some close up views.

Here is the sketch, LO and a close up view.I wish you could see the beautiful glitter on these papers.

Here is the 2nd page and the 2 pages side by side. Everything in these layouts came from the DCWV Citrus stack except the twine. I hope you enjoyed viewing these as much I did creating them.

Mother's Day Card

I put this card together in about 2 minutes. Quick and Easy!!

I used a premade card base and added the patterned paper from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies Mat Stack. Blue ribbon from my stash, MOM letter stickers from Target and a silver flower sticker by Martha Stewart. I wrote my own sentiment that I saw online to make it more personal. My Mom loves homemade cards.

Week 3 Challenge

Sorry, I missed posting week 2 but I didn't get any crafting done due to family obligations. I only got 2 pages done during week 3. Unfortunately, I didn't meet my goal of 4 layouts but at least I got into my craft room for a little while. Here are my pages...

Week 1 Challenge

Sorry I'm a little late posting my 1st weeks layouts for my personal March challenge, but I had a death in my family and this is the first chance I had to post.
I am happy to say that I at least accomplished my goal of 4 LO's for the week.

One of them I am going to enter into a challenge on www.clubcreatingkeepsakes.com. It's a color challenge and you had to use red, white and brown.Here are the photos. 

Believe it or not the background paper is red. I don't know why it appears to be orange in these pictures. Must have been the lighting but I didn't have time to play around with it right now.

DCWV March Sketch Challenge

Here is my entry for DCWV March sketch challenge. All the papers are DCWV Mango Frost.

This is part of a 2 page spread in my book so I created the second page basically as a mirror image of the first. I just used different shapes. Here is the complete spread

These papers are beautiful. The photos don't do them justice. The background paper is glittered and the colors are nice and vibrant.

March is National Craft Month

Hello All,

March is National Craft Month so I've decided to set a goal for myself. I'm going to try and produce 4 layouts a week. I'm extremely behind on my scrapbooking so I thought this would give me the incentive to get back into my craft space and start creating. My posts this month will be layout heavy since I may not have time to craft much more, but there is so much that I'd like to do besides that. I get such inspiration and great ideas by looking at all of your blogs.

Here is a layout that I did recently of my daughter. These picture was taken in 2006 so she is much older now, but I just love the way this LO looks.

I included this picture to show you the beautiful glitter on this paper. It didn't show up well without the flash.
